The Modern, Palm Beach

The Modern is scheduled to start take reservations in 2009. It is a majestic 24 story glass tower with 84 luxury units that offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Palm Beach, the Southeastern Florida resort destination that is home to some of the grandest residential and shopping addresses in the world.
The property's distinctive entrance features three dramatic waterfalls along the entire front of the building. Magnificent surrounding gardens will be adorned with Cypress, Palm and Laurel trees; serene reflecting pools, and a multitude of vivid sub-tropical flowers that bloom year-round. As a focal point at the front of the property, plans call for a striking swimming pool that gives the illusion of a vanishing edge which cascades over a 13-foot waterfall.
Amenities will include a library, card room, media room, and Wine Room, with private climate-controlled wine storage and humidor. Recreational facilities include an expansive fitness center; heated swimming pool, with spa and poolside bar; and individual Spa Suites with their own patio for private massage and other services. As part of residence purchase, a one-year membership will be included in Quintessentially and owners will enjoy an on-site Quintessentially concierge as part of The Modern experience.
These luxury units are ideally designed for gracious entertaining. Spacious two- and three-bedroom flats will average more than 372 square metres (4,000 sq. ft.), plus two sizeable balconies: one sundeck facing east with pristine water views, and a secondary moon terrace offering city views.
